Does anyone know where I can get free or cheap diabetic testing strips for the Accu-Chek Aviva?

I am 24 years old and insulin dependent with out insurance. I spend 600 dollars a month for healthcare including doctor visits and medicine. I have no insurance and do not qualify for any type benefits. Can anyone give me some type of advice?

How many cc’s does 40 units of Lantus Solostar equal?

I’m switching from the Lantus Solostar to regular vials. I have syringes, but they are marked in CC’s. Should I be taking 40 CC’s or someother amount. The doctor is out of touch until next week and the pharmacy won’t answer my questions since I didn’t get the supplies from them!!!
